It was tremendous to see all students back at school this week after, hopefully, a restful holiday. The term has well and truly begun with speed. Students and teachers have simply picked up where they left off prior to the Winter break. But before the term gets away from us, I would ask that both parents and students reflect on the reports received prior to the Winter holiday. As I mentioned to all students in the Secondary Assembly yesterday, it is essential that students work towards achieving their very best. I asked all students to set themselves a number of goals over the coming weeks that are realistic and achievable. Please use the comments made by teachers to assist you in this process.
Grade 10 Subject Selection Information Evening
Many thanks to the Grade 10 parents and students for making the journey to ISB to participate in the Grade 10 subject selection evening. With over 25 parents accompanying their child on Wednesday evening, it was a very successful night. I would also like to thank the teachers and Heads of Department for attending the evening – over the course of the night, many questions were fielded to the teachers from inquisitive parents and students, eager to learn more about next year. You will find below, hyperlinks to the two presentations used on the evening. Please feel free to look over the presentations again and to then email me any questions you might have. I will attempt to answer the questions posed to me – if I am not able to do so, I will forward it to the
Exciting House activities to start the term
