Maker Space & Design Technology
It was wonderful to see many parents enjoy the Maker Space and Design presentations from both the Elementary and Middle and High School teachers last Wednesday morning. The presentation outlined how the programme supports students from lower elementary up to high school as they explore the wonderful area of imaginative creation!

Busan Be-FM Visit
Mr Smith, Head of Elementary and I visited Busan FM last Tuesday to explore the growing relationship we have with the radio station. Initially, we are looking at small groups of students exploring the station through 1- 2 hour tours. Beyond that, we are also hoping to develop Intern possibilities for more senior students as well as working alongside Busan FM as we expand the outreach of the Global Relay for Life event.

Personal Project Showcase
Dear Parents of Grade 10 Students,
The Personal Project Showcase is fast approaching.
The Showcase is a time for your children to share what they have learned and accomplished with the entire school community, from the preschoolers to the Grade 12s to the ISB staff and parent community.
Each student will create a display with highlights from their project, share their product, and many will even have fun and engaging activities for visitors to do.
Visitors are encouraged to ask questions. Discussions during the Showcase help students form and better articulate their thoughts for the final report, which is submitted to the IB for moderation. It is always wonderful to see parents visiting many booths and taking the time to meet and get to know their child’s classmates.
Students should already be planning their display. I will be in school on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24, from 9:30-4:00 to supervise any student who wants to begin setting up his or her display. Students are also welcome to stay until 6:30 pm on Monday, Feb. 25.
