On Tuesday morning the BIFS Cross Country team ventured to Daegu for their first SKAC Cross Country competition. As you can see by some of the photos attached, the students not only enjoyed themselves but put in a very strong performance. By all reports they competed very well, representing the school with pride. Here are the individual results for the day.
SECONDARY COFFEE MORNING
Tuesday was also a busy morning in the Secondary school as we conducted our regular Parent Coffee Morning. This session was delayed from last week because of the ‘Back to School Night’. Simon Furmston was in-charge of the session as we focused on the parental use of Managebac. As a school, we are moving towards using Managebac on a far more extensive basis. To that end, I would openly encourage all parents to get to know how to access Managebac through the links found below. if you have any issues with accessing Managebac or have a question that cannot be answered after accessing the links, please be in touch with Simon Furmston – email@example.com
Wednesday and Thursday of this week saw students in grade 6-10 involved in the annual MAP tests. For those students and parents who have not been through this experience before, it was completed with minimal disruption to student’s normal routine. While there may have been a few worried students, we certainly emphasised that MAP tests simply require all involved to do their very best. They are not designed for students to have to do any extra study or preparation prior to their completion.
When you get a moment, please have a look at the website for MAP
Next week promises to be yet another rewarding week in the Secondary School. Classes are in full swing, assessment is beginning to roll in and the term is flying past! We will conclude next week with our traditional Chuseok Celebration. There promises to be fun and excitement as we come together as a school to give thanks for all that has gone before us.
Enjoy your weekend together.
